Awesome Adventure

 Hi,

The words "Awesome Adventure" made me think of our Trip to Cape York, and in particular Four Wheel Driving on  the old Telegraph Track.  It really was an Awesome Adventure.

I have used the Green, Blue and Grey colours, and the Sketch as my inspiration.

I tried to recreate the Bush and the Water in the creeks that we saw on our journey with my background page.

Thanks for the Challenge, I hope you like my interpretation.

HI, The prompt at Scrap the Boys for June is “In Stitches”, one of my favourite things to add to layouts is stitching, both machine and hand stitching. I have used colour burst powders to create this wildly colourfully background, and then used a few different stencils and stamps over the top.   I have added a few rows of machine stitching and a star embellishment which is also machine and hand stitched. Way out west

Hi, I really liked the Country theme at ARTastic this month. It gave me the inspiration I needed to scrap this photo of my Granddaughter’s reflection in the s ide mirror of my friend’s ute. I have sprayed the background using a “Dusty Attic” Chipboard as a stencil, to mirror the fence line in the painting.   I have also reflected the colours on the painting in both the photo and my choice of papers. I wanted to keep the layout simple so the background become the hero. Hope you like my take on the challenge, I really enjoyed creating this page. Memories of Paris

  Hi, The February Challenge at “White with 1”, was the colour “Sizzling Pink” including a great sketch as inspiration. When I saw the Eiffel Tower on the page map, I pulled out this photo of my daughter and son in law in Paris – the city of love.
