Celebrate Cup Day

Image
HI, Celebrating Melbourne Cup Day has been a long held tradition at my work place. We may not be able to go to the races but we always dress up, and have a Chicken and Champagne Lunch while we watch the big race. The office sweep is also mandatory. The word prompt Celebrate Together, made me think of Cup Day at work. Here is my take on the Sketch using the colours Red, White and Gold, and of course the words "Celebrate Together". Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, I hope everyone has the chance to celebrate the season with family and friends. Julie J

Max

Hi Everyone, Here is my take on the first Stuck Sketch for December. My daughter just wanted a dog but she needed to wait until she purchased a house. So  Christmas 2013 along came MAX!!! I have been wanting to scrap these photos for a long time, and they popped out at me when I looked at this sketch. A Photo and Max as a Puppy and then as a Three year old. Thanks for the inspiration Julie J

I had such fun with the  December challenge from Artastic.  The task was to Scraplift one of the design teams layouts.  I fell in love with the stamped and stencilled background of Judy W's page.  So I got out my collection of stamps etc. and had some fun.  I hope I have done the page justice thanks for the inspiration.  Merry Christmas everyone  Julie J

Awesome Adventure

Image
Hi, The words "Awesome Adventure" made me think of our Trip to Cape York, and in particular Four Wheel Driving on  the old Telegraph Track.  It really was an Awesome Adventure. I have used the Green, Blue and Grey colours, and the Sketch as my inspiration. I tried to recreate the Bush and the Water in the creeks that we saw on our journey with my background page. Thanks for the Challenge, I hope you like my interpretation. Julie J

Hi, I take so many photo's of wildlife and was really excited when the November Challenge from ARTastic gave me the prompt to scrap them. I took this Photo (and about 20 more) of these Pelicans that were floating around on Lake Moogerah when we were camping there. I have used the colours of the photo (Yellow and Blue) as my inspiration, and the critera of a black background, which I so rarely use. Thanks so much for the Challenge, hope you like my interpretation. Julie J (Aust)

With this Challenge I have combined the "Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Scrap our Stash, with a great Sketch from Stuck's October 15 Challenge.  I have used the bottom row of the "Tic Tac Toe"  - Mini Alphas - American Crafts - Die Cuts  I could not resist the bottom row, as I had some American Crafts paper in my Stash I have been wanting to use, I teamed this with the mini alphas and die cut, a scribble, arrows and the word happy          using die's in my collection.  I hope you like it, I had fun creating it!! Thank you to Stuck and Scrap Our Stash for giving me a great Challenge !

Hi,  the first thing that came to mind when I thought of vibrant pink and Breast Cancer Month was women supporting each other, and what better support network than your sister.  The photo is of my sister and I, enjoying a weekend together at a recent craft show.  Hope you like it.  Julie J
