Image
Hi, For this page I have combined two challenges. The mid-month sketch from Stuck, with the January challenge from “More than Words”. Its their third Birthday at “More than Words” so the prompts are to be inspired by the word “Birthday” and to used at least two tags. I have used this photo of my Granddaughter posing with her cake to celebrate her fourth birthday. I hope you like my take on these challenges.  Julie J Julie J

Let your hair down

The theme for January over at Archi-scraps is to "let your hair down" what a great theme for the new year. The challenge was to use a tassel on your layout. I have added a gold tassel to this Christmas page as we let our hair down to celebrate our family Christmas.  This is my first time playing along at Archi-scraps, but it wont be my last.  Thanks for looking Julie J

The Challenge at ARTastic this month  was to use vacation photos and take inspiration from the Arthur Streeton painting "Beach Scene" This lovely painting  reminded me of our Holiday to Townsville when I took my Grandson to Reef HQ.  He just loved to sea creatures in the aquariums. I have use the sea theme, the colour of the ocean, and children playing as my inspiration from the painting. I hope your like my take on this challenge. Cheryle R

Celebrate the season

The Scrappy Friends January Challenge was just perfect for these cute photos of my Grandchildren waiting for their turn to see Santa. I have combined Rochelle's great sketch and the prompt to include diagonal stripped paper  with Brenda's History Challenge.  I have chosen the first history challenge "the ball drop at time square" Creating a layout to celebrate all that is Christmas, including gold sequins, a gold doily and gold spray on  my background. I hope you like my take on your challenge.  Thanks so much for the inspiration.  Cheers Julie J
