Let your hair down



The theme for January over at Archi-scraps is to "let your hair down" what a great theme for the new year.

 The challenge was to use a tassel on your layout. I have added a gold tassel to this Christmas page as we let our hair down to celebrate our family Christmas. 

This is my first time playing along at Archi-scraps, but it wont be my last.

    i love how the dark background really pops your embellies and photo. The page is a bit small for old folk like me to see, but thank you for highlighting the tassel with a separate pic!! Lovely page.

  Hi, The challenge at “Scrap the Boys” for February is “The Great Outdoors”, and the words explore, dream, discover as inspiration. The word prompts explore, dream, discover are at the heart of one of my favorited pass times, camping and traveling in our caravan. We just love to discover new places, explore this great country we live in and when we are home we are dreaming of our next adventure. With that in mind I just had to scrap this photo I took while we were Kayaking and fishing for “Red Claw” on a recent camping trip. I had lots of fun creating my mixed media background, layering tissue paper and book paper with gesso, then adding texture paste, and using a variety of stencils.
