Brighten your life
HI, On this page I have combined two challenges: The theme from “Scrap the Girls” for June Is “Best Friends” and the Prompt from "Archi-scraps" to use "Triangles". I have a great group of friends that decided about 10 years ago when our local scrapbooking shop closed to host our own crops each week at each other’s houses, while we still scrap together every week, it has also turned into an amazing friendship with lots of social outings together. So this photo of us at the football was perfect for Scrap the Girls, this month. I have sprayed the background with a very simple mask to create two triangles, I then stencilled with some colour paste to represent the pyramids in the picture from Archi-scraps. I cut some more triangles out of pattern paper and added them to the top and bottom of the layout Hope you like my take on the Challenges, I have lots of fun create this page. Fun
HI, The prompt at Scrap the Boys for June is “In Stitches”, one of my favourite things to add to layouts is stitching, both machine and hand stitching. I have used colour burst powders to create this wildly colourfully background, and then used a few different stencils and stamps over the top. I have added a few rows of machine stitching and a star embellishment which is also machine and hand stitched. Hope you like my take on the sketch, thanks for looking.
